Most night shifts in care feel isolating and undervalued, but this one is different. You'll work independently in a home where your presence genuinely matters, supporting nine adults with mental health needs in an environment built on real dignity and recovery. This is a chance to do meaningful work that pays fairly and invests in your future
Picture yourself on a night shift where you're not just watching the clock. You're the steady presence that helps people with complex mental health needs feel safe and supported when they're most vulnerable. You'll work alone, yes, but with clear purpose: monitoring wellbeing, responding calmly to what arises, and maintaining the peaceful, secure atmosphere that lets people actually rest and recover
The home works with individuals to build real resilience and coping skills. Your role is part of that bigger picture. You'll keep detailed records, notice changes, respond to emergencies with a clear head, and help with light domestic tasks that keep the space calm and welcoming. It's independent work that demands attention to detail and genuine care
This provider genuinely invests in their staff. You'll get a full paid induction, access to QCF qualifications that open doors to progression, and a workplace culture that recognises your experience and qualifications through transparent pay scales. Circle wellbeing support, a Blue Light discount card, pension contributions up to 3%, and 5.6 weeks' annual leave including public holidays are just the start
