Most night shifts in care feel isolating and thankless, but this role is different: you'll work independently through the night in a beautiful rural setting, supporting real people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and acquired brain injuries who genuinely need you there. This is a chance to make a tangible difference when it matters most, in a service that actually invests in your growth and rewards your reliability
Picture this: you're part of a specialist supported living team in a converted barn complex with communal courtyards where warm summer BBQs happen regularly. Three properties, genuine community, real people with real support needs. You're not just clocking hours; you're the person who keeps things safe and calm when everyone else is asleep, spotting changes, responding to needs, creating the kind of secure environment where people can actually rest
The team here is serious about your development. You'll get paid QCF qualifications that actually open doors to career progression, a comprehensive paid induction to get you properly set up, and access to Circle, a wellbeing hub that covers everything from counselling to healthy eating advice and high street discounts. This isn't a care job where you're left to sink or swim
You'll earn between £13.45 and £14.15 per hour depending on your experience, with 5.6 weeks of annual leave built in, a matched pension contribution, and a £500 referral bonus when you bring someone brilliant into the team. The provider is a Real Living Wage Employer, which means fair pay that actually reflects what you're worth
