Most night shift jobs feel isolating and thankless, but this one puts you at the heart of real change. You'll be the calm, steady presence five adults rely on when the world goes quiet, supporting people living with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries and ADHD in a home that genuinely invests in your growth. This is the kind of work that stays with you
Picture yourself arriving for your shift as the sun sets. The home is calm and welcoming, designed for five individuals who need consistent, thoughtful support through the night. You're not just watching over people; you're creating safety and peace during the hours when it matters most. You'll respond to their needs, help with routines, stay alert for anything that arises, and ensure the environment stays secure and restful. It's independent work that demands attention and care in equal measure
The team here understands that night workers are the backbone of residential care. They've built genuine support around you: comprehensive paid induction to set you up properly, access to QCF qualifications so you can develop your skills and earn more, and a wellbeing hub called Circle that covers everything from counselling to healthy eating advice. Your Enhanced DBS? Fully paid. Your pension contributions matched up to 3%. Even a referral bonus of up to £500 when you bring talented people into the team
You'll work 35 hours per week at £13.45 to £14.05 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience. Add in 5.6 weeks of annual leave (including public holidays), a Blue Light card giving you discounts across high street shops, days out and holidays, and a Real Living Wage commitment that means fair pay that reflects what you actually bring. This is a provider that talks about valuing you and then proves it
