Most care homes talk about putting people first. This one actually means it, and they've got the awards and the staff satisfaction scores to prove it. If you're an NMC-registered nurse ready to step into leadership, mentor a nursing team, and shape clinical excellence in a home that genuinely invests in its people, this is the role you've been waiting for
You'll work directly with the Home Manager and lead our nursing and care teams to deliver the highest standards of clinical care. This isn't about paperwork and box-ticking. You'll be making real clinical decisions every day, supporting your team through complex cases, and actively building the culture of best practice that transforms residents' lives. You'll have the autonomy to mentor, train and develop your nurses, watching them grow in confidence and skill under your leadership
The home you'll join is different. B Corp certified, a Real Living Wage employer, and named Health Investor's Residential Elderly Large Care Provider of the Year two years running. Your team won't be burnt out and resentful. Glassdoor rates them 4.7 out of 5. They're supported, developed, and genuinely cared for. That means you'll be leading people who want to be there, and you'll have the time and resources to do your job properly
You'll handle audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC compliance and all the clinical governance that keeps residents safe, but you won't be drowning in it. The procedures and processes are in place. The management team backs you. And there's a proper induction and career development programme waiting for you, plus your NMC PIN renewal covered every year
