Most therapy roles in specialist education feel isolating: you're working alone, fighting to be heard, watching clinical insight get lost in translation. This is different. Here, you're part of a 220-strong multidisciplinary clinical team where your voice shapes how every child learns and lives, and where the smallest positive change in a young person's day is celebrated like the victory it truly is
You'll be based at our independent specialist day school, working alongside educators who actually listen to your formulations and genuinely want to translate your clinical thinking into the classroom and beyond. The young people here present with developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions and complex learning needs that demand exactly the kind of skilled, thoughtful intervention you trained to deliver. This isn't a token role: you're a core part of how we build therapeutic living and learning environments that actually work
We've invested in a dedicated Sensory Integration room specifically so our clinicians can deliver evidence-based interventions that help children regulate, engage and thrive. Whether you're already SI trained or hungry to develop those skills, you'll have the space, resources and expert colleagues to grow. Your clinical development isn't an afterthought here; we run a leading programme of learning and advancement because we know that investing in you means better outcomes for every child you touch
You'll spend your time delivering individualised therapeutic interventions, consulting with educational and residential teams, running workshops and training sessions that embed clinical thinking into everyday practice, and assessing young people to shape their support. The role works both ways: you guide the teams, they bring you into their world, and together you create something genuinely joined-up. This is what specialist education looks like when it actually works
