What you will be doing
- Assess the mental health needs of young people across both homes and formulate individualised care plans with specific, evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Deliver direct counselling and therapeutic work with young people, building rapport and tracking progress through structured feedback and review
- Support educational and residential colleagues to create and maintain therapeutic living and learning environments, informed by your clinical understanding of trauma, attachment and neuro-developmental difference
- Contribute to the multi-disciplinary clinical team's oversight of CSE-related presentations, using clinical knowledge and formulation to guide colleagues' response and intervention
- Attend supervision and contribute to clinical development programmes, maintaining and advancing your professional practice

Is this you?
- You're a qualified professional with accreditation in counselling (BACP or similar professional body membership) - additional mental health or therapeutic intervention qualifications are a real plus
- Knowledge of sexual trauma and CSE is desirable; you understand the developmental and psychological impact on young people and know how to approach it clinically
- You're genuinely skilled at connecting with young people - you can read a room, meet them where they are, and build trust even with those who've learned not to
- You're highly organised and can take initiative; you don't wait to be told what needs doing, and you can hold complexity without losing sight of the human in front of you
- You have solid understanding of child development and how trauma, attachment and neuro-diversity shape a young person's behaviour and learning
