Most care jobs promise growth but leave you managing chaos instead of people. This Senior Support Worker role in our Cheshire Supported Living service is different: you'll lead a small team, shape real person-centred plans, and work with adults who have genuine potential to build better lives. If you have a full UK driving licence, genuine supervisory experience, and the kind of warmth that makes people feel safe, this could be the role that finally feels like it fits

You'll be leading support for people living with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries across Cheshire. This isn't a chaotic residential home - it's Supported Living, which means you're working with people who have chosen how and where they want to live, and your job is to help them live that vision. You'll work with the same individuals consistently, develop deep understanding of their goals, and actually see the impact of your work

Your day involves managing a small team of Support Workers, liaising with GPs, social workers, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists, and making sure care and support plans stay alive and person-centred. You'll complete supervisions, audits and observations - proper leadership work, not just firefighting. The provider invests in you: QCF qualifications, a matched pension contribution up to 3%, paid Enhanced DBS, and a Circle wellbeing hub with counselling, fitness advice and discounts built in

You'll travel between services in Crewe, Winsford and Northwich - that full driving licence is essential, but it means variety and autonomy. Five and a half weeks annual leave including public holidays, a Blue Light Card for savings across high street retailers and holidays, a referral bonus scheme, and a Real Living Wage commitment that actually reflects your qualifications and experience. Long Service Awards recognise loyalty. Care First's Employee Assistance Programme is there if you need to talk to someone, confidentially and free
