As Team Leader, you'll support and develop your junior and new staff members, coaching them through their work and helping them grow into the best versions of themselves. You'll answer nurse calls, manage rotas to meet individual needs, liaise with GPs and support managers, and keep detailed records that matter. What you will be doing
- Support, train and supervise junior and new staff members across all aspects of their work in the home, under senior staff oversight
- Deliver high-level personal and psychological care to residents, managing daily living support including medications, toileting, bathing and personal care arrangements
- Respond to nurse calls promptly, answer phones and doors professionally, and pass messages on correctly
- Report on resident wellbeing, liaise with GPs and support managers, and carry out regular resident checks at intervals set by senior staff
- Arrange rotas to meet each resident's individual care requirements and complete all changeover and keyworker documentation within agreed timeframes
