Most care homes talk about being person-centred. This one lives it every single day, from the moment residents walk through the door. You'll be stepping into a role where your leadership shapes not just how care gets delivered, but how a whole community feels - and where the team around you genuinely wants to grow under your guidance

Picture this: you're leading a team of carers who know their residents inside out. You're not just ticking boxes on a rota; you're orchestrating care that's tailored to each person's real needs. One afternoon you're supporting a resident through their personal care with dignity and warmth. The next, you're coaching a junior staff member through a tricky situation, watching them gain confidence because you took the time to show them how. That's the daily reality here

The home itself is designed around comfort and life, not just compliance. Residents enjoy a general store, a tea room, a salon, a landscaped garden, live music sessions. Your job as a leader is to make sure the care backbone supports all of that flourishing. You'll be responsible for supervision, training, rotas, documentation, liaising with GPs and support managers - the full picture. And because you're embedded in a place that genuinely values development, you'll have real pathways to grow your own skills and career

What makes this different is the culture. The home isn't just looking for someone to manage shifts; it's building a team that shares the same values. Compassion, warmth, person-centred thinking - these aren't slogans on the wall. They shape every decision, every interaction, every rota you plan. You'll be trusted to lead because the leadership above trusts you, and invests in your development
