Most care homes treat leadership like just another shift. But this one isn't most homes. You'll be stepping into a role where you genuinely shape how a whole team works, how residents experience their days, and where your own development actually matters - not as a box to tick, but as something the home actively invests in
Picture this: you're leading a small, tight-knit team in a home that's thoughtfully designed for comfort. Residents have their own cinema room, communal spaces feel genuinely warm, and the home uses modern systems like Whzan Vital Signs monitoring to keep everyone safe and well. You're not managing spreadsheets; you're orchestrating real moments - dance sessions, movie nights, the daily rhythms that make people's lives better
Your role is to build the best team you can. You'll be training and supervising junior and newer staff members, spotting their strengths, pushing their development, and creating an environment where people actually want to come to work. You'll handle the day-to-day: rotas, medications, personal care, liaising with GPs and support managers. But the real win is watching staff grow under your leadership and residents thrive because their care is seamless and person-centred
This home genuinely walks the walk on values. It's responsive, compassionate, and serious about a person-centred approach. You'll be the one setting the tone for that culture, showing junior staff what it looks like in practice, and proving that a care home can be both innovative and deeply human

- You're organised enough to manage rotas and documentation without losing sight of the human side of the work
