Most care jobs ask you to lead without actually investing in you. They want experience but offer no real pathway forward. This one is different: we're looking for someone ready to step up into genuine leadership, and we'll fund your training all the way to Level 5 while you do it

Picture this: you're leading a small, tight-knit team in a home where residents aren't just looked after, they're known. You shape the culture. Your residents thrive because you've created an environment where people feel safe enough to be themselves. The families notice. Your team respects you because you lead by doing, not by standing back

You'll have real responsibility here. Medication, activity planning, family liaison, team guidance when management steps back - this is proper leadership, not just a fancy title. And because this provider invests genuinely in their people, you'll grow into it. Fully funded training up to Level 5 means you're building a career, not just filling shifts

The team around you gets it. After 40 years and over 5,500 colleagues across the country, this is a provider that knows care works when people feel valued. Day shifts, alternate weekends, and the space to actually make decisions - this is leadership that feels like it matters

What you will be doing

  • Lead by example: deliver high-quality personal care and daily living support while showing your team how it's done
  • Oversee medication administration, manage accurate record-keeping, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Plan and run meaningful activities and outings that genuinely improve residents' wellbeing and independence
  • Support and guide your care team, stepping up to manage in the absence of senior management
  • Build real relationships with families and healthcare professionals - you're the bridge between home life and professional care

Why you will love working here

  • £16.50 per hour with on-demand pay so you're not waiting around for your wages
  • Fully funded training up to QCF Level 5 - proper career progression, not just promises
  • Refer a friend scheme worth up to £1,000, because your network matters
  • Company pension scheme and a Blue Light discount package, because we value your life outside work too
  • Day shifts with alternate weekends: leadership that doesn't destroy your personal life

Is this you?

  • You've got at least 12 months' solid experience working in a senior care role, and you know what good leadership looks like
  • You're QCF Level 3 or above - you speak the language of care training and you're ready to build on it
  • You have hands-on medication experience and you're comfortable with accurate record-keeping as part of your day-to-day
  • You're available for 36 hours per week on day shifts, and you can work alternate weekends without it derailing your life
  • You've got the right to work in the UK and you're genuinely ready for the next step, not just looking for any job
