What you will be doing
- Lead and model the values of the home - working with empathy, integrity and a relentless commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
- Support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, managing challenging behaviour with both firmness and compassion, and helping them feel secure
- Empower and support your team members, setting the standard for professional practice and holding people accountable for delivering quality care
- Work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to protect young people's welfare and ensure their views, wishes and feelings are heard and documented
- Bring any safeguarding concerns or evidence of malpractice to the Registered Manager's attention immediately, and actively maintain a caring, nurturing environment free from harm
- Ensure the physical and emotional environment of the home is appropriate and sensitive to the specific needs of every young person living there
