What you will be doing
- Lead and manage a team of Support Workers, delivering regular supervision, training and professional development that actually makes them better at their jobs
- Oversee staff rotas and staffing ratios, making sure the team has what it needs to provide consistent, safe support
- Work closely with the Team Manager on day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with OFSTED and Local Authority standards
- Conduct internal quality audits and help prepare for external inspections so the service keeps raising the bar
- Manage referrals and placement matching, ensuring each young person gets the right fit for their needs
- Represent the service in external meetings and work across internal departments to keep everything joined up

Is this you?
- Is this you? You've got at least 2 years' experience supporting young people or vulnerable adults in a residential or outreach setting, and you understand what good safeguarding and person-centred practice looks like
- You hold (or are willing to achieve within 2 years) an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- You're a strong communicator and a natural leader - the kind of person who motivates your team not through authority, but because people trust your judgment and want to do good work for you
- You've got solid knowledge of OFSTED standards and Local Authority statutory duties - this isn't theoretical for you, it's lived experience
- You have a valid driving licence (you'll be working across the Cheshire region including Chester and Congleton)
- You're willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide a full work history with explanations for any gaps
