Most care jobs ask you to do more with less, burnt out on a team that's falling apart. This Senior Support Worker role is different: you'll lead a real team across our Cheshire services, shape how people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs actually live their lives, and grow your career with genuine investment behind you
You'll work across three locations - Crewe, Winsford and Northwich - supporting adults in their own homes and in the community. These aren't institutional settings; you're helping real people build real lives around their own goals and aspirations. One day you're helping someone access the activities they love, the next you're liaising with their speech therapist or community nurse to make sure their support plan stays sharp and person-centred
Your role managing the Support Worker team means you're not just delivering care, you're building a culture where standards stay high and people feel valued. You'll supervise staff, audit their work, keep records tight, and create the kind of team where everyone contributes to a happy, efficient service. That's leadership that matters
The provider backs professional growth seriously. They fund QCF qualifications, they pay your Enhanced DBS upfront, they offer an Employee Assistance Programme because they genuinely care about your wellbeing, and they've built a Real Living Wage commitment into everything they do. Annual leave is 5.6 weeks including public holidays. Your pension contributions are matched up to 3%. This is a place that invests in people who stay
What you will be doing
- Manage and supervise a team of Support Workers, ensuring they deliver high standards of care in line with each person's support plan
- Provide day-to-day support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and acquired brain injuries, working from person-centred plans they've helped create

- Encourage community relationships and meaningful activities that help people thrive in their own lives
