Most care jobs ask you to do brilliant work but never give you the platform to lead or the backing to grow. This Senior Support Worker role is different: you'll manage your own team, shape how support gets delivered, and work for a provider that actually invests in your development from day one. If you've got Level 3 in Health and Social Care and you're ready to step up, this is your next move
You'll be at the heart of a Supported Living service that works with people living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries. Your job isn't just to manage: it's to create the conditions where both your team and the people you support can genuinely thrive. You'll be the person who knows every person's care plan inside out, who spots what works and what doesn't, and who makes sure standards stay high because you're leading by example
Every day you're doing real supervisions with your team, walking through audits together, liaising with health professionals and families - the work that actually shapes someone's life. You'll promote community activities, build relationships that matter, and maintain the records that keep everyone safe. It's hands-on leadership, not admin from a desk
The provider backs their people. They're a Real Living Wage Employer with pay scales that recognise your qualifications and experience. They cover your Enhanced DBS in full, fund QCF qualifications to get you progressing, and offer a full paid induction so you start confident. Five and a half weeks of annual leave, matched pension contributions up to 3%, an Employee Assistance Programme, and access to Circle - your wellbeing hub with discounts and support whenever you need it. This is what genuine investment in your welfare looks like
