You're partnering with the SENCO, the Assistant SENCO and the HLTA team to design and deliver support that actually sticks. Medical needs, speech and language, behaviour, social interaction, English as a second language - you handle the full spectrum, and you get genuinely good at spotting what each young person needs before they even ask

What you will be doing
- Deliver 1:1 support and small group interventions for SEND and EAL students, helping them access the full curriculum alongside their peers
- Work closely with the SENCO, Assistant SENCO and HLTAs to plan and implement strategies tailored to individual student needs - medical, developmental, behavioural and social
- Build strong relationships with students and staff, communicating regularly with teachers, parents and other professionals to track progress and adjust support
- Support students with varied needs including speech and language, behaviour management and social interaction within the classroom and beyond
- Contribute to a culture of genuine inclusion, ensuring vulnerable students feel valued and capable of learning

Is this you?
- You have real experience supporting students improve their skills through focused 1:1 work - primary or secondary, either is fine
- You understand the professional standards for teaching assistants and know what effective TA deployment actually looks like in a busy classroom
- You're strong on literacy, numeracy and ICT - these aren't nice-to-haves when you're supporting learners across multiple needs
- You can build genuine relationships with students and colleagues, and you communicate clearly with parents and other professionals
- You're energetic, organised and genuinely interested in students with varied needs - SEND, EAL, behaviour, medical needs, the lot
