What you will be doing
- Support learners' curriculum-based learning in the classroom, delivering against clear learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management and positive interaction
- Deliver one-to-one and group support during home tuition and outreach visits, adapting your approach to each young person's needs
- Facilitate learning through outdoor activities and practical experiences that build confidence and resilience
- Prepare learning materials and contribute to planning and delivery across the school
- Record daily progress notes and identify barriers to learning, feeding back to teachers and the wider team
- Maintain regular contact with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's progress and wellbeing

Is this you?
- You're genuinely committed to supporting young people with SEND and you bring real passion to the work, not just a job title
- You have at least two years' experience working in a SEND environment or similar specialist provision
- You hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or you're ready and able to work towards one
- You're calm under pressure, you can manage complex behaviours with consistency and empathy, and you understand why routine and structure matter
