What you will be doing
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that follow the national curriculum and meet the diverse needs of your SEN students
- Build strong relationships with young people, sparking curiosity and confidence through accessible, relevant literature and language work
- Use effective de-escalation strategies, and apply Team Teach trained physical intervention techniques when required (full training provided)
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students with social and emotional behavioural needs throughout the school day
- Analyse your pupils' progress and adapt your teaching to continuously improve their learning outcomes

Is this you?
- You hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification and have proven experience in the classroom
- You're based in the UK, have the right to work here, and hold a full UK driving licence (desirable)
- You have a genuine desire to work in an SEN setting and can communicate warmly, building real relationships with young people who may struggle with trust
- You're flexible, adaptable and approachable - the kind of person who sees challenges as problems to solve, not reasons to switch off
- You believe in high expectations - for your students and for yourself
