What you will be doing
- Assist pupils with learning activities, adapting your support to each young person's individual needs under teacher direction
- Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development using trauma-informed approaches and the school's restorative practice model
- Help manage behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy, working calmly and consistently with pupils who have complex needs
- Encourage engagement and independence in learning tasks, and assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation
- Support record-keeping and monitoring of pupil progress, and help maintain a clean, safe and orderly learning environment
