Most care jobs feel like you're just getting through the shift. This one is different: you'll actually see young people transform, build real relationships that matter, and know at the end of every day that you've changed someone's life. If you're looking for work that pays you fairly, trains you properly, and makes you feel like you're part of something bigger than yourself, read on
Picture yourself walking into the home each morning knowing exactly who you're supporting and what difference you'll make today. You're not just ticking boxes. You're the adult in the room who helps a young person believe in themselves, who notices when they're struggling and steps in with genuine care, who celebrates the small wins that actually matter. That's the job. Every single shift, you're building confidence, independence, and life skills that will stay with them for ever
The team here isn't scattered or burnt out. People actually support each other day to day because the culture genuinely prioritises wellbeing. You get 24/7 access to confidential support through the Employee Assistance Programme, on-demand GP access, and wellbeing days when you need them. Sleep-ins work differently too: you're not just covering nights, you're earning up to £700 extra per month while you do it. Overtime pays time and a quarter once you've hit your 40 hours

You'll train under experienced teams, work towards your Level 3 Children and Young People's Residential Care qualification (fully funded), and have a genuine pathway into Team Leader, Deputy and Registered Manager roles if you want to grow
