You've got the care experience. You've got the commitment. So why are you still stuck at the same level, in the same role, watching opportunities pass by? Most care jobs offer you a pay slip and a rota - this one offers you a structured pathway to management, with every step funded and your existing skills actually recognised from day one

Imagine walking into work knowing that your 1+ years of care experience isn't just valued - it's actively building your future. Here, if you hold a Level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification, you're not starting from scratch. You're starting from where you are, and moving faster toward Deputy Manager level and £18/hour. That's not a distant dream; that's the plan, mapped out and supported

You'll be supporting a young person with learning disabilities, which means hands-on personal care and real skill development. But more than that, you'll be learning advanced therapeutic techniques and crisis intervention from day one - the specialist skills that separate good care workers from leaders. And you won't learn them alone: this service funds all qualifications from Level 2 through Level 5, meaning your progression isn't limited by your bank balance

The culture here is built on genuine recognition. Career advancement based on proven ability. Accountability and leadership development in a supportive environment. You'll mentor new staff, contribute to team development, and build the management capabilities that open doors. This isn't a role where you stay in the background - it's one where your expertise gets you noticed and rewarded

What you will be doing

  • Deliver personal care and prompting to a young person with learning disabilities, maintaining dignity and independence at every step
  • Apply advanced therapeutic techniques and crisis intervention skills in real situations, developing your specialist practice
  • Mentor new staff and contribute to team development, sharing your experience and building a stronger service
  • Work flexible shift patterns including long day 24-hour patterns and waking nights, helping the service run smoothly across the week

Why you will love working here

  • Up to £18/hour (depending on experience) with accelerated progression toward Deputy Manager level - your existing skills get you there faster
  • All qualifications funded: Level 2, 3, 4 and Level 5 - your career development costs nothing, it costs the service
  • Structured management pathway with full support - leadership isn't sink-or-swim here, it's carefully developed
  • Contract and flexible shift patterns designed around real life, including long day 24-hour patterns and waking nights

Is this you?

  • You have 1+ year of proven care experience with young people - you understand the fundamentals and you've made a difference
  • You hold a Level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification and you're ready to build on it
  • You're genuinely eager to develop management and leadership skills, not just stay comfortable where you are
  • You have a full driving licence with business insurance - essential for this role
  • You're committed to working with young people who have complex needs and you want to specialise in that area
