Most care jobs ask you to work unpaid travel time between clients and leave you feeling stretched. This one is different: you'll be paid for every minute you're working, including the journey between visits. If you're caring, reliable, and want a job that actually values your time, keep reading

Picture this: you arrive at a client's home at 7 am. You help them wash, dress, take their medication. You prepare a meal they actually enjoy. You listen. You notice what matters to them that day. Then you drive to the next visit, and that journey time? You're paid for it. No unpaid gaps, no scrambling between appointments on your own dime. Just honest work, honestly paid

You'll work flexibly across mornings, evenings and weekends, in a pattern we'll build around your life, not against it. Full-time or part-time, whatever suits you. The home visits are never the same twice: one call might be personal care and medication support, another companionship and meal prep, another supporting someone living with dementia. You're working independently in the community, making real decisions, building real relationships

New to care? Full training and shadowing shifts are paid and built in. Already experienced as a Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant? Your skills are valued here, and you'll progress fast. Either way, you're joining a team that's been doing this since 2006, locally rooted, and genuinely invested in keeping their carers supported and developing. People stay here for years because they feel it

What you will be doing

  • Provide personal care, medication support and assistance with daily living in clients' own homes across Trafford and surrounding areas
  • Prepare meals, offer companionship, and support clients living with dementia or other conditions to promote their independence and well-being
  • Travel between client visits throughout the day, managing your own schedule and working independently in the community
  • Build relationships with clients and their families, noticing what matters to them and adapting your approach to their needs

Why you will love working here

  • £14.24 per hour including holiday pay, plus paid travel time between every care call - no unpaid gaps, no hidden hours
  • 35p per mile contribution for drivers, a £400 welcome bonus, and a £200 refer-a-friend scheme (if you know someone great, that's real money)
  • Full paid induction and training, shadowing shifts, and support towards Care Certificate accreditation - we invest in you from day one
  • Flexible working patterns you help design, ongoing support from a friendly local team, and genuine career progression as you develop

Is this you?

  • Is this you: you have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence (or access to a vehicle in most areas)
  • You're caring and compassionate, but also reliable and professional - the kind of person clients and the team can count on
  • You're comfortable working independently, making decisions on the spot, and communicating clearly with clients and colleagues
  • You're flexible about mornings, evenings and alternate weekends, and genuinely want to make a difference in people's homes and lives
