Most care jobs pay you only for the hours you're inside someone's home, leaving you unpaid for the travel time that eats up your day. We're different: you'll earn £15.07 per hour plus paid travel time between every client visit, plus 35p per mile if you drive. If you're the kind of person who genuinely cares about making a difference in people's lives and wants a job that actually values your time, read on
Imagine a care role where flexibility isn't a buzzword but a real promise. You choose between full-time or part-time, mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts that fit your life, not the other way around. Our team works with your availability because we know that carers who feel respected and in control of their schedule deliver better care. Many of our colleagues have been with us for years because they feel supported, valued, and genuinely know their work matters
Your days won't follow a script. You'll move between clients in the community, each visit different from the last: personal care one moment, helping someone prepare a meal the next, offering companionship to someone living with dementia, then supporting another client with daily living tasks. You'll be promoting independence and well-being in real homes, not institutions. The work is challenging, but it's also one of the most rewarding careers you can have
We invest in you from day one. You'll receive full training and paid induction time, ongoing shadowing and development, and support towards your Care Certificate qualification. If you've worked as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Community Carer before, brilliant. If you're completely new to care, that's fine too: we'll give you everything you need to feel confident and competent in the role
What you will be doing
- Provide personal care and support to clients within their own homes, working to promote their independence and well-being
- Offer companionship, medication support, and assistance with daily living tasks tailored to each individual's needs
- Prepare meals and provide dementia support where required, adapting your approach to each person's circumstances
- Travel between client visits throughout your working day (all travel time is paid, plus mileage contribution for drivers)
- Work independently within the community, managing your schedule and maintaining professional communication with clients and the local team
Why you will love working here
- £15.07 per hour PLUS paid travel time between every client visit, so you're genuinely paid for your whole working day
- 35p per mile contribution if you drive, making the role financially sustainable for everyone
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, mornings, evenings, or weekends around your life
- Full paid training and induction, ongoing development, shadowing shifts, and support towards your Care Certificate qualification
- A welcome bonus and the backing of a friendly local team who treat you like you matter (because you do)
Is this you?
- You have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence (or genuine access to a vehicle for most areas)
- You're comfortable and reliable working independently in clients' homes, and you can manage your time between visits
- You're genuinely caring and compassionate, with a positive and patient approach to supporting people through their daily lives
- You're flexible and adaptable, comfortable working mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends as the role demands
- You have good communication skills and real empathy for the people you'll support (previous care experience is a real plus but absolutely not essential)
