What you will be doing
- Support children and young people with complex medical and developmental needs through daily routines, personal care and person-centred care planning
- Help young people build confidence, independence and life skills - from swimming and baking to community trips and personal goal-setting
- Work alongside nurses, therapists and teachers to deliver education, therapy and recreational activities tailored to each young person's needs
- Record care notes, progress updates and follow individual behaviour support and care plans
- Respond appropriately to epilepsy-related medical situations using your emergency response training

- You're caring and genuinely enthusiastic about supporting children with complex needs and seeing them thrive
- You have reliable transport or are willing to use our subsidised staff transport routes (we run services from Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Stanstead Abbotts)
- You're willing to work shifts including earlies (7.00am-2.30pm), lates (2.15pm-9.45pm) and alternate weekends - full-time or part-time hours available
- You're organised, can communicate clearly in writing for care notes, and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- You're open to learning and keen to gain qualifications - no prior care experience required, though it's a bonus
