Most care jobs feel like you're just going through the motions, ticking boxes, never quite making the difference you got into this work to make. This isn't that job. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to help young people build real skills, real independence and real futures, and we'll invest in you to make that happen

Imagine clocking in knowing that today you might help a young person master budgeting for the first time, or encourage them through a hobby that becomes their passion, or sit with them through a difficult moment and actually see it land. That's the daily work here. You'll be part of a small, tight team in a home that treats each resident as an individual with their own goals, not a case number

The young people you support will have their own unique needs and ambitions, some working towards total independence, others building the daily living skills that change everything. You'll prompt them, guide them, encourage them through personal care, health appointments, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, emotional support. Real work. Real impact

And we mean it when we say you don't need experience to thrive here. You'll get a full, paid induction, coaching from day one, and we'll fund your QCF qualifications as you go, opening doors to promotion and real career progression. This is how care should work: you grow, they grow, everyone moves forward

What you will be doing

  • Day-to-day support and routine, prompting independence while helping young people live fulfilling lives
  • Supporting and encouraging personal skill development through hobbies, interests and structured activities
  • Teaching life skills including budgeting, paying bills, shopping and cooking
  • Maintaining health care needs, accompanying residents to appointments and administering medication as required
  • Providing personal care and assistance with domestic tasks when needed
  • Offering physical and emotional support through guidance, encouragement and a genuinely present approach

Why you will love working here

  • Real pay for real work: £14.05 to £14.75 per hour depending on your qualifications and experience, with transparent pay scales that actually recognise what you bring
  • 5.6 weeks of annual leave plus 8 public holidays, so you can actually breathe
  • We cover your Enhanced DBS check in full, plus all renewals, so there's no hidden cost to you
  • Full QCF qualification support to unlock your potential and build a genuine career path, funded by us
  • Pension matched up to 3%, Circle wellbeing hub with counselling and discounts, Blue Light card savings at high street shops and holidays, plus a £500 referral bonus when you bring great people into the team

Is this you?

  • Are you flexible and reliable? You'll work a mix of day and night shifts across a 35-hour week
  • Do you hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence? You'll need it for this role
  • Are you over 18 and ready for an Enhanced DBS check?
  • Can you show genuine care and patience, even when things are tough? Experience in care isn't essential, but the attitude is everything
