Most residential care jobs feel like you're just managing chaos and ticking boxes. This one is different: you'll be part of a team genuinely committed to making every single day extraordinary for children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. If you've got real experience with young people who need genuine support, and you want to work somewhere that actually invests in you, read on

Picture this: you're supporting a young person through an appointment, then out on an activity they genuinely enjoy, then back home helping them through their evening routine. You're not just keeping the lid on, you're actively building their stability and resilience. That's the rhythm of this role, and it matters

The home believes in every single one of the children in their care, and that belief runs through how they treat their staff too. They're expanding the team right now because demand is growing, which means real job security and chances to progress. You'll complete proper inductions, access QCF qualifications as you go, and work with people who actually care about your development

You'll be paid fairly for your skill and experience (£13.45-£14.05 per hour), with 5.6 weeks of annual leave built in, a NEST pension scheme where they match up to 3%, and access to Circle for your wellbeing, counselling, and high street discounts. Sleep-ins and long day shifts means you're genuinely part of the household, not just clocking in and out
