Most care jobs feel like you're just going through the motions, moving between tasks without ever really knowing the people you're supporting. This is different. We're looking for someone who wants to build genuine relationships with the residents in their care, work in a warm home environment designed for real connection, and grow as a carer while making a tangible difference every single day
Imagine clocking in to a purpose-built home that actually feels like a home. The space is divided into smaller houses so you get to know your residents properly, not just pass them in a corridor. You're not a number on a rota; you're part of a tight-knit team where people know your name and value what you bring. That's what this looks like
Your day involves real, hands-on care: helping someone get washed and dressed with dignity, supporting them through meals, assisting with mobility, and completing the care plans that keep their support personalised and joined up. It's the kind of work that matters immediately. You see the impact of showing up, being present, and treating each person as an individual, not a task
What makes this different is that this provider genuinely invests in people who come into this role. They run a Blue Light Card scheme, reward long-term service, and they mean it when they say they build the best team through training and self-development. Your professional growth isn't an afterthought; it's baked into how they operate
What you will be doing
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing and mobility support, delivered with warmth and respect for each resident's dignity and preferences
- Support residents with meals by assisting with eating and drinking, building rapport and noticing any changes in their appetite or health
- Complete daily care plans that reflect what you've observed and done, so the rest of the team knows exactly what's happening for each person
- Work as part of a smaller house team to create a safe, healthy and friendly environment where residents feel known and cared for
Why you will love working here
- £13.32 per hour for work that genuinely matters
- Blue Light Card discounts to stretch your wages further
- Long-term service awards that recognise your loyalty and commitment
- A Refer a Friend scheme so you can bring people you trust into the team
- Access to professional development and training so you can grow as a carer and build your skills and confidence
Is this you?
- Is this you: you're someone who genuinely cares about making older adults feel valued and comfortable, and you're willing to learn on the job
- You're reliable and trustworthy, able to show up consistently and build relationships with the people in your care
- You can be responsive to individual needs and aren't afraid to ask questions or flag concerns to keep residents safe
- You're open to training and development, and you want to get better at what you do
Applications close on 12 October 2026. Great roles like this are filled quickly, so the sooner you apply the better.
