Most care jobs feel like you're just going through the motions on a rota. But what if you could walk into work knowing you're genuinely changing someone's day - maybe their whole week? We're looking for someone who sees care as a calling, not a job, to join a warm, person-centred home where residents' dignity and joy come first

Picture this: you're helping a resident get ready for the day, and they mention it's their birthday. By lunch, the whole home is buzzing - you've helped arrange a special afternoon tea, there's music playing, and you're seeing real smiles. That's what happens here. This isn't a factory shift; it's a place where every person matters and every day has space for small kindnesses that add up to a life well lived

The home sits in beautiful gardens with genuine spaces designed for connection - a nostalgic sweet shop, a dementia café, a sunny conservatory where residents gather for chats. You'll be part of a team that understands that care is about preserving dignity, creating memories and making sure people feel valued. Training and self-development aren't buzzwords here; they're genuinely built in because we know our staff deserve to grow

No experience? Genuinely no problem. What matters is that you share our values: being responsive to individual needs, showing real compassion, and believing that every person deserves a warm, healthy and safe environment. If you're willing to learn and you care about doing things the right way, we'll invest in you from day one

What you will be doing

  • Supporting residents with personal care - washing, dressing and attending to their daily needs with patience and respect
  • Assisting at mealtimes, supporting residents with eating and drinking at their own pace
  • Completing daily care plans so that every resident's needs and wellbeing are properly recorded and communicated
  • Helping residents with mobility, whether that's a steady hand, a warm word of encouragement, or learning how to use equipment safely

Why you will love working here

  • £13.32 per hour, plus salary advance so you're never stuck between paydays
  • Professional development that actually happens - we invest in training because we believe you're worth it
  • A team that celebrates your contributions: Employee of the Month recognition, long service awards, and genuine support through our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Real perks: Blue Light Card discounts, Perkbox benefits, and a Refer a Friend scheme so you can bring people you trust into the team

Is this you?

  • You don't need previous experience - just a genuine willingness to learn and a real desire to make a difference in someone's day
  • You're able to show compassion and patience, even when things get challenging or sad
  • You can work as part of a team that values training, feedback and doing things the right way
  • You're comfortable with personal care tasks and can approach them with dignity and professionalism
