Most care jobs feel like you're just ticking boxes and moving to the next task. This is different. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to be part of a team where compassion isn't a policy - it's the air you breathe - and where the young people in our home actually thrive because someone cares enough to really see them

Picture this: you arrive at a home where there are peacocks in the gardens, where meals are cooked with real thought, and where the whole place just feels calm and purposeful. That's not accident - that's what happens when every single person on the team shares the same values and genuinely puts the young people first. You'll be part of creating that every single day

Your role is hands-on and real. You'll be supporting young people with personal care, helping them with meals, working through their daily care plans, and assisting with mobility - the kind of work that matters. It's not glamorous, but it's profound. You'll watch people grow because you showed up and did it right

We invest in our team. Training and professional development aren't afterthoughts here - they're built in. You'll grow in this role, supported by people who actually want you to succeed. And when you do, we celebrate it: Employee of the Month, long-term service awards, and a team that genuinely has your back

What you will be doing

  • Provide personal care support - assisting young people with washing, dressing, and maintaining dignity and independence
  • Support meals and nutrition - helping young people with eating and drinking in a relaxed, person-centred way
  • Complete daily care plans accurately and thoughtfully, recording what matters
  • Assist with mobility and movement in a safe, supportive manner
  • Be part of a warm, responsive team that spots what each young person needs and delivers it with compassion

Why you will love working here

  • £12.82 per hour - honest pay for real work
  • ESAS Salary Advance so you're never caught short between paydays
  • Professional development and training built into your role, so you grow in confidence and skills
  • Employee Assistance Programme and Blue Light Card to support your life outside work
  • Refer a Friend bonus and Long Service Awards - we value loyalty and we reward it

Is this you?

  • You don't need experience - but you do need to genuinely care about the wellbeing of young people and show up with real compassion
  • You're responsive and tuned in to individual needs, not just following a script
  • You're keen to learn and develop - this role includes training and support to help you grow
  • You believe in person-centred care and creating a safe, healthy, friendly environment where people can be themselves
  • You're ready to be part of a team that celebrates each other and invests in success
