Most care jobs feel like you're just getting residents through the day. This one is different: you'd be part of a team that genuinely believes every single person deserves joy, connection and memories worth making. If you've ever wanted to work somewhere that actually lives those words, keep reading

Imagine clocking in knowing that today you're not just ticking boxes - you're helping someone feel heard, cared for and valued. That's the real work here. Whether you're supporting someone with personal care, helping them enjoy a meal together, or simply being the warm, friendly face that makes their day feel safer, you're building genuine relationships. No scripts, no corporate nonsense. Just real compassion meeting real need

The home itself is built for living well. Lush gardens, cosy lounges with proper views, arts and crafts happening regularly, dance classes, activities that actually light people up. You're working in a place where residents aren't isolated in rooms - they're part of a vibrant community. And that energy? It spreads to the team too. People here want to be here

You don't need years of experience walking through the door. You need to care, to show up ready to learn, and to believe that person-centred care isn't a buzzword - it's how you actually treat people. The team actively encourages your development and training. They're not just giving you shifts; they're investing in you growing into this work

What you will be doing

  • Support residents with personal care - washing, dressing and maintaining dignity throughout
  • Help residents with meals, eating and drinking, making mealtimes social and unhurried
  • Complete daily care plans accurately so the whole team stays connected to what each person needs
  • Assist with mobility and movement, keeping residents safe and as independent as possible

Why you will love working here

  • £13.32 per hour for bank shifts that fit around your life
  • Genuine professional development support as you grow into the role
  • Blue Light Card discounts to stretch your money further
  • Refer a Friend scheme so you can bring people you trust into the team
  • Employee of the Month recognition and long service awards that actually mean something

Is this you?

  • You genuinely care about older people and see the person, not just the age or the needs
  • You're reliable, warm and can work flexibly on bank shifts as they come up
  • You're willing to learn - whether that's proper moving and handling, person-centred approaches, or how this home does things
  • You can communicate clearly with residents, families and staff, and you're not afraid to ask questions
