Most care jobs feel like you're just going through the motions, clocking in and out without really making a difference. This isn't one of them. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to build meaningful relationships with the adults we support and become part of a team that actually invests in your growth
Picture this: you arrive at a quiet residential home where each person living here has their own story, their own goals, and their own pace. Your job is to help them live that story well, whether that's supporting them through their morning routine, helping them enjoy mealtimes, or moving around their home with confidence. It's hands-on, it's real, and it matters every single day
What makes this different is the people around you. This provider genuinely believes in building the best team through training and self-development. You won't be left to figure it out alone. You'll work alongside people who get that personalised, person-centred care isn't a buzzword here, it's how they actually operate. And if you've never done care work before? That's fine. What matters is that you share the values: compassion, warmth, and a commitment to creating a safe, healthy environment where residents and staff can both thrive
Whether it's Employee of the Month recognition, long-term service awards, or genuine opportunities to develop your skills and progress, this home shows up for the people who show up for their residents. This is the kind of role where you can build a real career, not just a job
What you will be doing
- Provide personal care support including assisting residents with washing, dressing and maintaining their dignity throughout
- Support residents at mealtimes, helping with eating and drinking in a way that respects their independence and preferences
- Complete daily care plans that reflect each person's individual needs and progress
- Assist residents with mobility around the home, keeping them safe and supported
Why you will love working here
- £13.32 per hour for work that genuinely matters
- Employee of the Month recognition and long-term service awards that acknowledge your commitment
- Blue Light Card discount as an extra thank you
- Real professional development opportunities so you can grow your skills and build a genuine career in care
- A Refer a Friend scheme, so you can bring people you trust into a workplace that values its team
Is this you?
- You don't need experience in care, but you do need genuine compassion and a real commitment to understanding the individual needs of the adults you'll be supporting
- You're someone who can create a warm, friendly atmosphere and make people feel safe and valued just by the way you show up
- You're willing to learn and develop, and you take pride in doing things properly, whether that's completing care plans or helping someone get ready for the day
- You're reliable, flexible and genuinely interested in being part of a team that cares about doing this work well
