Most care jobs feel like you're running on a treadmill: low pay, zero support, and nowhere to go. But what if you walked into a role where you're genuinely valued, properly trained, and actually building a real career? This is that job

Picture your week: you're supporting residents with their personal care, their meals, their medications and their lives. You're the person who helps someone get washed and dressed with dignity. You're the one who spots when they need their medication, who sits with them over breakfast, who takes them out on trips and engages them in activities that matter. You're not just doing tasks - you're providing the companionship and support that keeps people living as independently as possible

You're working day shifts in a home that actually invests in its team. Your colleagues aren't burnt out and cynical; they're supported, trained and moving forward. The provider has been doing this for 40 years, operates across more than 170 locations nationwide, and is actively expanding. That kind of stability means real job security and genuine career paths

Within your first year you'll have access to fully funded training up to QCF level 5. You'll have mentoring, proper induction, and colleagues who know what they're doing. The refer-a-friend scheme (up to £1000 bonus) tells you something important: people actually want to stay here and bring their mates in. You'll also get on-demand pay, a company pension scheme, and Blue Light care discounts

What you will be doing

  • Provide daily personal care support: helping residents with washing, bathing, showering, dressing and oral hygiene with respect and patience
  • Manage medications: prompting, assisting and administering medications and creams as required
  • Support mealtimes: helping residents with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
  • Enable independence and mobility: supporting residents to stay as active and independent as possible
  • Create engagement: organising trips out, social activities and meaningful engagement within the home
  • Keep the environment safe and clean: light domestic tasks to support a comfortable living space

Why you will love working here

  • £12.90 per hour, paid on demand so you're never waiting for your money
  • Fully funded training up to QCF level 5 with genuine career progression built in
  • Day shift position with confirmed hours and alternate weekends (predictable rota, real life balance)
  • Company pension scheme and Blue Light care discount package
  • Refer-a-friend scheme worth up to £1000, because we know our team is our best advertisement

  • Can you commit to a full-time position, including alternate weekends
  • Are you reliable, patient, and able to show up ready to make a real difference every day
