Most care jobs feel like you're just going through the motions. But this one isn't about ticking boxes; it's about being the person who genuinely changes someone's day. We're looking for a Residential Care Worker in Redbridge who gets that the real work happens in the quiet moments, the conversations, the care that comes from the heart

Picture this: you're supporting young people through their daily routines, building real relationships, and being the stable presence they actually need. You're helping with personal care, household tasks, meal prep, medication support, and genuine companionship. It's hands-on, it's real, and it matters more than you might think

You don't need to walk in with a stack of qualifications. What you need is a warm heart, strong people skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with young people who need someone who actually cares. If you've got that, we'll invest in your development. Fully funded training up to QCF level 5 means you'll grow alongside the young people you support

This is a team that works properly together, stays flexible around your life, and genuinely believes that care done right changes everything. You'll be part of a service with real professional development, proper support, and the kind of work that stays with you long after your shift ends

What you will be doing

  • Support young people with daily routines including personal care and household tasks that build independence and dignity
  • Help with shopping, meal preparation and nutrition, turning everyday moments into chances for connection and learning
  • Provide companionship, active listening, and friendly conversation that brightens their world and builds trust
  • Support with medication management and other personal care needs, working safely and professionally

Why you will love working here

  • Fully funded professional training and qualifications up to QCF level 5, so you grow real skills you can use anywhere
  • £12.75 an hour with flexible contracts built around your life, not the other way around
  • On demand pay, a Blue Light care discount package, and a company pension scheme to look after your future
  • A real team culture where you're supported, valued, and genuinely making a difference every single day

Is this you?

  • Is this you: kind, compassionate and genuinely passionate about helping young people thrive?
  • You've got strong people skills and can build real, meaningful relationships that last
  • You're professional, supportive and genuinely enjoy working as part of a team
  • You have a minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK
  • You hold a full UK driving licence and can work alternating weekends with flexibility
