We're a rapidly expanding provider opening a brand new 8-bedded home for young people with learning disabilities and autism, and we're looking for support workers who actually want to build something meaningful from the ground up

What you will be doing
- Provide emotional, physical, and social support tailored to each young person's individual needs, helping them achieve their own goals and live as independently as they can
- Assist with daily living activities - personal care, meal preparation, household tasks - and actively encourage skill development in budgeting, cooking and self-care
- Support residents to participate in community activities, hobbies and social events that matter to them, plus accompany them on planned holidays
- Keep everyone safe by administering medication where required, following health care plans, responding calmly to emergencies, and maintaining accurate daily records of activities, incidents and observations
- Work as part of a close-knit team, communicating effectively with colleagues, families and other professionals involved in each young person's care, and attending training and team meetings

Is this you?
- You have a genuine passion for supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD or related conditions, and you understand the real challenges they face
- You're patient, empathetic and genuinely positive - the kind of person who stays calm under pressure and treats every young person with real dignity
- You can communicate clearly with both the young people you support and the team around you, and you're comfortable with flexible working across evenings, weekends and holidays
- You either hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or you're willing to work towards it with the provider's support
- You've worked in a similar care role or within the care sector before, and you understand person-centred approaches and positive behaviour support
