Most care jobs leave you drained, undervalued, and wondering if you're actually making a difference. This one is different: you'll work with young people and adults (16-31) who need real support with learning disabilities, autism and mental health challenges, and you'll be part of a team that invests in your growth from day one. If you're patient, resilient and ready to build genuine connections that change lives, this could be exactly where you belong

Picture this: you're supporting someone through a difficult moment, and your calm presence, clear boundaries and understanding actually turn things around. That happens here. You'll be doing real, meaningful work with young people and adults who face genuine challenges - learning disabilities, autism, mental health struggles, sometimes self-harming or behaviour that's hard to manage. But you won't be doing it alone or without proper training

This is a 24/7 residential service, which means you're part of a stable team that knows these individuals deeply. Your shifts run 12-14 hours (typically starting at 9am), with sleep-ins and weekend cover woven in - so the rota is built for people who want genuine flexibility and don't want to burn out chasing zero-hours chaos. You'll support daily activities indoors and out, help build real independence, handle personal care with dignity, and document everything properly so safeguarding stays tight

The training here is serious. You'll get access to Care Certificate modules, mandatory training, and therapeutic training that actually prepares you for the complexity of this work. Work towards an NVQ qualification while you're doing the job. That's not a vague promise - it's what they fund and support. Add in cinema discounts (up to 63% off), Blue Lights Card savings, and a team that values learning and resilience, and you've got a workplace that gets it
