What you will be doing
- Provide day-to-day therapeutic care to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, creating a safe, warm, nurturing home environment where they can play, learn, and thrive
- Support young people with educational, recreational, and social activities, acting as a positive role model and building strong professional relationships with the children and their families
- Complete accurate recording including daily notes, report writing, and key-working documentation that contributes to each child's ongoing care plan
- Work confidently both independently and as part of the team, upholding high standards of professional conduct and collaborating with partner agencies

- Do you have at least 1 year of experience working with children or young people in a residential setting?
- Can you communicate well, show emotional intelligence, patience, and resilience in your daily practice?
- Do you hold a full UK driving licence and have the right to work in the UK?
- Ideally, you hold a relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or Childcare, or you're ready to work towards one
