We're looking for someone who actually knows how to build trust, spot what a young person really needs, and help them move forward - and we'll give you the training, team and autonomy to do it properly
You'll be working in a residential home where the focus is genuinely on helping young people preserve their dignity and independence. That means getting to know them as individuals, understanding what drives them, and supporting them through the moments when things get hard. Day to day you'll be doing the practical, human work: building relationships, supporting young people through routines and challenges, helping them learn and develop independence. What you will be doing
- Provide hands-on care and support to young people in the home, helping them with daily living, personal care, and building life skills
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with each young person, understanding their individual needs, triggers and strengths
- Support young people through routines, activities and transitions, offering practical help and emotional presence
- Work as part of a team to safeguard and promote the wellbeing, dignity and independence of every young person in your care
