What you will be doing
- Provide day-to-day care and support to young people living in the home, supporting their wellbeing, safety and development across all areas of daily life
- Work alongside the team to create and maintain a safe, structured and nurturing environment where young people feel genuinely cared for
- Engage in meaningful activities, supervision and one-to-one time that help young people build skills, confidence and positive relationships
- Contribute to detailed recording, observations and planning that feeds directly into each young person's care and support strategy
- Support the home's wider goals around safeguarding, behaviour management and therapeutic practice through consistent, thoughtful approach

Is this you?
- You've got genuine experience working with young people in a care setting, or you're qualified and hungry to prove yourself in residential care
- You're calm under pressure but also warm and human, able to sit with a young person's distress without losing sight of boundaries
- You can communicate clearly with colleagues, managers and other professionals, and you're willing to learn from feedback and supervision
- You're reliable and professional, but you're not robotic about it, you show up as a real person who respects the young people you work with
