What you will be doing
- Provide day-to-day residential care and support to young people, helping them with personal care, meals, routines and the emotional regulation that keeps life on track
- Build trust and strong relationships with the children and teenagers in your care, recognising their individual needs and responding with consistency and genuine warmth
- Support young people through both the ordinary and the difficult moments: homework help, conflict resolution, celebrating wins, managing behaviour that's rooted in trauma
- Work as part of a team, communicating clearly with colleagues, managers and other professionals involved in each young person's care and development
- Contribute to a safe, homely environment where young people can begin to heal and grow, keeping careful records and flagging any changes in wellbeing or behaviour
