What you will be doing
- Provide day-to-day care, supervision and emotional support to young people in the residential home, building relationships based on consistency and genuine interest in their wellbeing
- Help with practical tasks - meals, homework support, activities, personal care where needed - while modelling the kind of adult presence these young people rarely experience
- Identify concerns early and communicate clearly with the wider team about how each young person is doing, what's working and what isn't
- Participate in training and development so you keep improving at this work and understand the specific needs of the young people in your care

- You have experience working with children or young people in a care, education or support setting - or genuine passion and willingness to learn if this is your first role

- You're reliable, honest and can be trusted around vulnerable young people (enhanced DBS check required)
- You're flexible about shifts and location - able to work full-time, part-time or on a temporary basis depending on what suits you
