Most care jobs feel like you're being squeezed into understaffed rotas that don't respect your life outside work. This one is different: you'll work a planned rota published 6 to 8 weeks ahead (typically two or three shifts a week), earn real money with overtime available, and join a team that actually listens to you and backs you up. If you're ready to do meaningful trauma-informed work where your wellbeing matters as much as the people you support, keep reading

Picture yourself building genuine, trusting relationships with vulnerable adults in supported accommodation. You're not rushing between clients or ticking boxes - you're there to help someone move towards independence, whether that's sorting out housing, finding employment, or simply learning to manage their day. When crisis moments come (and they do), you respond with calm, training, and a team who has your back. That's the reality here

The home environment is yours to shape too. You're keeping it safe and welcoming, collaborating with colleagues who genuinely respect what you do, and knowing that your voice matters. This provider puts staff support right at the centre - they actively encourage open communication, reflective practice, and shared learning. You can raise concerns without fear. You can contribute ideas. You're not invisible

Over time, your expertise grows. You'll work in trauma-informed ways, develop skills in de-escalation and mental health support, and have the space to think about your own development. Whether you come with a Level 3 qualification or you're bringing transferable life skills and real personal experience, there's room for you to learn and progress. The team is invested in people who are willing to invest in themselves
