Most care jobs feel like you're just getting through the day. This one? You're genuinely changing lives, building real relationships, and getting paid to help people discover what they're capable of. If you care about making a difference and want to work somewhere that actually invests in growing you, this is the role

Picture your week: one day you're supporting someone at college, building their confidence in a new environment. The next, you're out in the community doing something fun together, watching them try something they've never done before. You're not just ticking boxes. You're the person who helps them see they can do more than they thought possible

You'll be part of a team of over 60 dedicated outreach staff on the Isle of Wight, all pulling in the same direction. The culture here is genuinely welcoming and supportive. People actually know your name, celebrate your wins, and have your back when things get tricky

Here's the real clincher: this provider makes a point of promoting from within. Many of the managers and senior staff started exactly where you'd be starting. With ongoing training, mentoring, and proper professional development, you're not just getting a job. You're stepping onto a career path where progression is real and achievable

  • Assist with daily routines and personal care needs, tailored to each person's goals and independence journey
  • Support college attendance and community engagement, helping people access education and social opportunities
  • Plan and lead fun day trips and community activities that are meaningful and enjoyable
  • Work flexibly across the outreach service, adapting to the needs of the individuals you support and the team

Why you will love working here

  • Competitive rates of pay, enhanced bank holiday rates, and paid in-house training and development so you actually grow in the role
  • Fun team days and annual events that prove this is a place people want to be, plus discounted gym membership to look after yourself
  • Real progression: internal promotion is standard here, and ongoing mentoring means you're set up to move up if you want to
  • Appreciation throughout the year including birthday gifts, Easter and Christmas gifts - a team that actually notices you're there and values what you do
  • A genuinely welcoming and supportive team culture where you're part of something that matters

Is this you?

  • Are you kind, patient, and genuinely keen to help others develop and thrive? No experience needed - we'll train you properly
  • Do you have a real passion for supporting people to live fulfilling, meaningful lives and building their independence?
  • Are you someone who can stay calm, think on your feet, and handle the fact that no two days are the same?
  • Can you commit to working flexibly within our outreach team on the Isle of Wight, where you'll build proper relationships with the people you support?
