Most care jobs feel like you're just managing tasks, rushing through the day and never really getting to know the people you support. But what if your whole shift was spent with just one person, getting to know them properly, helping them build the life they actually want to live? That's exactly what we're offering here

Imagine clocking in and knowing that for the next eight hours, you're genuinely making a difference in someone's day. You're not juggling multiple people or feeling stretched thin. You're there with your tenant, supporting them to do the things that matter to them, whether that's shopping, activities they love, or just spending quality time together. That focused 1:1 support transforms everything - for them and for you

This is a bungalow home with four tenants, each with their own individual support plan. You'll be part of a small, tight-knit team where you're matched to tenants based on what works best for them. You'll get a proper buddy on day one, a structured induction that actually teaches you what you need to know, and ongoing professional development so you can grow your skills and move forward in your career. The leadership here is genuinely supportive - they get it

You're joining a multi award-winning charity that's been pioneering person-centred care since 1988. They put their profits back into the people they support, their workforce, and local communities. No corporate nonsense. No uniform. No pretence. Just honest work with people who value what you do

What you will be doing

  • Support tenants to make their own choices and promote their independence and wellbeing in the bungalow and beyond
  • Complete thorough, compliant documentation of all interactions and support provided
  • Be flexible across different shift patterns: days from 7.30am, waking nights from 8.30pm to 7.30am, and sleep-in shifts from 7.30am to 7.30am the next day
