What you will be doing
- Create and maintain a calm, structured, nurturing home environment where children feel safe, valued and genuinely cared for
- Build positive, trusting relationships with the children and young people in your care, their families and the professionals supporting them
- Support children through daily routines, activities and care planning, helping them develop practical life skills
- Help children process past experiences and develop emotional resilience using trauma-informed approaches
- Keep accurate records and reports using IT systems, maintaining the administrative side of good care
- Work collaboratively as part of a team under the Registered Manager, bringing your energy and commitment to everything you do

Is this you?
- You hold a full UK driving licence (manual) and have done for at least 12 months
- You're willing to work shift patterns including some weekends - this is full-time permanent work
- You genuinely understand safeguarding and can work in a trauma-informed way, putting the child's welfare at the absolute centre
- You're patient, resilient and compassionate - you won't crumble when things get tough, but you'll stay human and kind
- You're a strong communicator and a natural team player - you want to work with others, not against them
