You're working with 16 to 21-year-olds in supported accommodation who are at a real turning point. What you will be doing
- Teach and support young people with everyday living skills - budgeting their money, cooking, cleaning, managing their own space - so they can live independently with confidence
- Be the steady emotional and practical presence that builds their self-esteem and resilience when things get tough
- Develop and review individual support plans with each resident, so everyone has a clear route to their personal goals
- Encourage and support them into education, training or employment opportunities that actually matter to them
- Work alongside social workers, housing teams and other professionals to join up the support and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Keep the home itself safe, positive and genuinely inclusive - the kind of place where young people can actually relax and grow
