Most mental health roles lock you into rigid rotas and one setting. This is different: you'll work across multiple rehabilitation centres, dementia wards and psychiatric units throughout Nottinghamshire on a flexible temporary basis, choosing shifts that fit your life. If you're a qualified Mental Health HCA looking for real variety, genuine flexibility and competitive rates, read on
Picture your week: you're supporting patients across different hospital environments - one day helping someone navigate early recovery on a psychiatric ward, the next providing compassionate care in a rehabilitation centre. Every shift brings new people, new challenges, and the deep satisfaction of making a real difference when people are most vulnerable. You're not stuck in one place doing the same thing; you're building genuine expertise across the full spectrum of mental health care
You'll work nights, earlies and lates - whatever suits you. Need three weeks of days next month because life happens? No problem. Want to pick up extra hours when you're keen? The 24-hour on-call service and dedicated team mean you've got genuine flexibility, not the lip-service version. You're trusted to shape your own schedule
The team here gets it: they've built a workplace where you're supported, valued and rewarded. A staff benefits and discount scheme that actually matters, referral bonuses when you recommend colleagues who stick around, and a organisation that invests in people who show up and do the work. This isn't a faceless agency gig; it's a genuine partnership
