Most care jobs feel like you're just clocking in and clocking out, doing the same tasks on repeat with no real connection to the people you're supporting. But this isn't one of those roles. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to improve lives in their local area, and we're ready to invest in you from day one with training, real pay, and genuine job security

Imagine starting your week knowing exactly what your shifts are, with flexibility built in so you can actually have a life outside work. You'll support vulnerable people in their own homes around Croydon and the surrounding areas, helping them stay independent and connected to their community. These aren't just care tasks you're ticking off a list; you're the person who helps someone get washed and dressed with dignity, who sits with them over a meal they've prepared together, who makes sure they can access the community and the activities that matter to them

What makes this different is the team behind you. This provider genuinely believes their staff are the most important people in the business, not just a line item. You'll get a free, comprehensive induction that actually prepares you for the work, not just a rushed half-day. And if you want to grow, they'll support you through NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care qualifications, all while you're earning

The money matters too: above-industry-average pay, paid mileage, enhanced rates for bank holidays, and a proper pension scheme. You get holiday entitlement, access to an employee support line for when things get heavy, and the security of knowing this work is stable and valued

What you will be doing

  • Help clients with washing, dressing and personal care routines
  • Support with shopping, meal preparation and prompting with medication
  • Assist with daily living routines and respite services when needed
  • Support clients to access the community and enjoy socialising and leisure activities
  • Work flexibly across full-time or part-time hours that suit your life

Why you will love working here

  • Above-industry-average pay plus paid mileage and enhanced bank holiday rates
  • Flexible full-time or part-time hours so you can actually balance work and life
  • Free comprehensive induction and funded NVQ Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care qualifications
  • Holiday entitlement, a proper pension scheme, and access to an employee support line
  • Job security with a provider who genuinely values their team and invests in your development

Is this you?

  • Are you genuinely caring and respectful, with a real desire to help vulnerable people stay independent?
  • Do you have excellent communication skills and the patience, sensitivity and humour to build trust with the people you support?
  • Are you reliable, consistent and punctual, even when shifts get demanding?
  • Do you have basic English language skills and a genuine interest in domiciliary care work (previous experience is a bonus, but not essential)?
  • Can you evidence a UK work visa and pass an enhanced DBS check?

Applications close on 12 October 2026. Great roles like this are filled quickly, so the sooner you apply the better.
