Most care jobs feel like you're just going through the motions: long shifts, paperwork, nobody really listening to what you need to grow. This one is different. You'll work with a close-knit team in a home where children aged 8-18 are treated with genuine dignity and kindness, and where your own development matters just as much as theirs

Picture your day: you're driving a young person to an appointment they were scared of, and by the time you arrive, they're actually talking to you about what's on their mind. That's the work. You're not a uniform; you're the adult they learn to trust. You develop their care plans around who they actually are, not a template. You document what matters, collaborate with teachers and therapists, and you see the small shifts that mean everything

The team here operates like a real family. You're supported every step of the way by dedicated professionals who know the children and know the work. The home is designed to feel secure and nurturing, not institutional. That atmosphere changes what's possible: children relax, heal, build better relationships. And because this provider is growing, they're investing in your future too

Over 25 years, this organisation has supported over 24,000 people to transform their lives. They were named Most Dedicated Community Housing Organisation 2025. That's not luck; that's what happens when you genuinely care about impact. Working here means you're part of something real, with room to gain qualifications, skills and a genuine career path
