What you will be doing
- Provide daily support and encouragement to young people with autism and complex learning difficulties, helping them develop communication, social and independence skills
- Be a calm, reliable presence both in the home and out in the community, offering positive role modelling and structure
- Build meaningful relationships with the young people in your care, seeing the world through their eyes and meeting their needs with genuine empathy
- Work as part of a tight-knit, supportive team, sharing in the goal of helping each young person flourish
- Support young people through their day-to-day lives with patience, listening and a commitment to their potential
