What you will be doing
- Day-to-day support and daily routines for adults with learning disabilities, prompting their independence wherever possible
- Teaching and encouraging practical life skills: budgeting, paying bills, shopping, cooking and managing household tasks
- Supporting health and wellbeing, including accompanying people to appointments, administrating medication, and assisting with personal care
- Nurturing their personal interests and hobbies, helping them build a fulfilling life outside of care
- Offering physical and emotional support, guidance and encouragement as part of a wider team approach
